OVERVIEW
Effectively manage and coordinate the supervisory team under your supervision, direct staff, as well as warehouses and shipments, ensuring timely strategies throughout the supply chain and complying with H&S processes and guidelines.
Ensure staff supervision (absenteeism and turnover), customer focus, and effective communication between support teams. Talent development and management of short- and medium-term financial and operational resources.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Verifiable experience as a logistics supervisor, at least 5 years.
- Education: Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Leadership, communication, motivation, and team building skills.
- Knowledge of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and all computer skills.
- Strong knowledge of SAP.
- Health and Safety (H&S) mentality and focus.

- Knowledge in the areas of materials, internal logistics, external logistics, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control, and warehouse management.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the fulfillment of company objectives.
- Coordinates and expedites materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
- Responsible for WIP inventories, inventory accuracy, and the timely delivery of material to the production floor.
- Leads and develops the proper execution of delivery and receiving.
- Performs communication, planning, and feedback activities prior to material release to ensure shipments.
- Supervises and evaluates staff activities according to company standards.
- Responsible for process optimization in the Logistics Department.
- Ensure departmental objectives for the BRPMS (BRP management system) are met.
- Ensure process monitoring by the assigned team (SAP transactions, checklists, H&S).
- Effective execution and development of the model year changeover.
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
- Comply with safety rules determined according to their role.
- Complete planned training sessions related to Quality and Training on time.
- Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
