Job Description

The Lean Specialist will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and lean manufacturing initiatives, optimizing processes, and enhancing productivity across our organization. Your expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and mentoring high performance teams will be instrumental in implementing sustainable improvements and driving a culture of continuous improvement and servant leadership.


Responsibilities

  1. Lead Continuous Improvement projects and key strategic initiatives throughout the application of Lean principles, Six Sigma and/or other continuous improvement tools as necessary to drive productivity and business results.
  2. Provide guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams to execute Kaizen and Transformation Events to foster a culture of continuous improvement in action and empower employees to actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
  3. Be an active player to improve, launch, deploy and sustain the Lean Transformation Plant thru the application of the Lennox Unified Management System (LUMS).
  4. Develop and implement an operational excellence strategy thru disruptive but effective initiatives aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  5. Support the deployment of Management for Daily Improvements by coaching teams to mature the application of Controls Centers along all levels of the organization.
  6. Strictly apply and improve the Integrated Quality, Safety, and Environmental management system throughout our Core Values and Behaviors.
  7. Support the launch of new products by applying continuous improvement tools and coaching teams to use lean tools.
  8. Develop and coordinate CAPEX projects until its capitalization process and complete them on time.
  9. Conduct process assessments and gap analysis: Analyze existing processes, both manufacturing and business to identify areas for improvement, and conduct comprehensive gap analyses to determine opportunities for optimization.
  10. Establish performance metrics and measurement systems: Develop performance metrics to monitor process effectiveness and efficiency. Implement measurement systems to track progress, identify trends, and report on the impact of operational excellence initiatives and productivity targets.
  11. Develop and conduct training programs: Develop and deliver training programs to train and develop trainers on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies to enhance organizational knowledge and capabilities to become self-sufficient.
  12. Stay updated on industry best practices and deploy them into the organization: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence. Share knowledge and promote the adoption of best practices within the organization.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  2. Extensive experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma deployment.
  3. Certification in Lean and Sigma is desirable.
  4. Basic knowledge of Mfg 4.0.
  5. Fundamental applications of ergonomics.
  6. SPC and Manufacturing Processes experience.
  7. Fluent English: Oral, Verbal and Written.
  8. Be passionate about Lean and Continuous Improvement.
