We are currently looking for a Java Developer.

Skill set:

1. Linux (RHEL 8) knowledge
2. Gitlab CI development
3. Puppet
4. Shell scripting

Desired Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Gitlab CI for maintaining and developing future CI/CD pipelines
2. Shell (bash) scripting knowledge largely implemented by UCD Plugin steps and Rundeck jobs
3. Puppet and Bolt for our Puppet-defined application infrastructure as well as converting our soon-to-be-retired Rundeck jobs
4. Monitoring and alerting tools: Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana would be most useful
5. Basic container knowledge (OpenShift) for things like alert handlers/managers
6. Application infrastructure knowledge: How databases, application servers, application services, and load balancers work together
7. Roadmap Items (build - run/retirement items not listed): Revamp of/improvements to current CI/CD pipelines to consolidate multiple teams' work into a paved path.
