About the role
The Insurance Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the insurance manager with the technical, administrative, and commercial processes, particularly those related to telemarketing sales of the line of business assigned.
Also, the analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of the projects, providing support to other areas, insurance companies, insurance brokers, telemarketing companies, and other types of providers.
Type of contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Actuary or related is required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Certifications or special training needed: Telemarketing, Insurance knowledge and certifications useful.
- Total years and type of prior related experience:
- 2 years of experience in telemarketing (must).
- Insurance knowledge with related work experience (must).
- Experience in telemarketing strategies (preferred).
- Experience placing insurance through third parties (preferred).
- Fluent English.
- Interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Teamwork and collaborative attitude.
- Data Analysis and constant follow-up skills.
- Detail Oriented.
- Ability to multitask.
- Highly responsible and proactive attitude.
- Customer focused approach.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Access database management is a plus).

- Commercial understanding of the business, i.e., business drivers, market forces, etc.
What you will be doing
- Promote the construction and documentation of all processes through BPMS methodology, including the life cycle of insurance (quotation – issue – claims – cancellations – commissions – management of earned premiums, and so on).
- Act as a primary point of contact for insurance companies, insurance brokers, and telemarketing companies with internal areas in terms of procedures and operational issues related to insurance.
- Develop market strategies with insurance brokers and/or telemarketing vendors by establishing agreements aiming to achieve goals set in the sales plan, monitoring through KPI, sales, in-bound and out-bound metrics, and providing support to internal GMF areas in order to coordinate operations and project tasks as necessary to ensure the performance of marketing vendors.
- Monitor the SLA and contracts with the different providers and support customer service in order to develop actions to improve the performance of the vendor according to the SLA.
- Support the definition of Vehicle Insurance, PPI, GAP, and Extended Warranty functionality in all available platforms.
- Lead the Insurance products implementations (in UAT pre and post deploy).
- Lead the insurance reconciliation process.
- Support the relationship with the providers, following up on the projects and daily activities required for the business.
- Support the pricing revision, loss analysis, and competitiveness (benchmarking) of the different products.
- Lead the tender processes when required, interacting with all internal areas involved (legal, compliance, sales, finance, operations, etc).
- Collaborate with the F&I team in all the training processes.
- Support the commercial team with specific campaigns to the network.
- Support the planning and implementation of insurance projects (end to end).
