The mission of the Inside Sales Representative for All BUs is to maximize revenue by establishing, building, and nurturing relationships with an assigned portfolio of Proximity Accounts and leads. In addition to account ownership, this position may be responsible for managing tasks related to Strategic and Targeted Accounts by delegation from outside sales.

What do you get to do in this position?

  1. Manage assigned Accounts
  2. Build and manage Opportunity Pipeline

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Customer qualification and platforming
  2. Research contacts and identify/plan key initiatives
  3. Be the Single Point of Contact for the assigned accounts
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  5. Answer customer questions and educate on all Schneider Electric offers and solutions
  6. Report on sales and margin of accounts
  7. Analyze and qualify opportunities in our CRM
  8. Meet daily goals for outbound sales calls to support existing customer base and identify and pursue new opportunities
  9. Take inbound calls and e-mails to support existing customer base
  10. Develop cross-selling between Line of Business offers
  11. Transfer new product sales opportunities to Account Managers
  12. Quote and close deals for standard offers
  13. Coordinate with field teams and product teams as needed
  14. Keep updated data of Installed Base of customers
  15. Document all records of customer history in our CRM
  16. Respond on-time and on-quality to On-demand requests from customers

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor/Associate degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 2 years in IS/Field Service Representative/Customer Care/Sales

Soft skills: Sales-oriented, results-oriented, daring, passionate, team player, organized, resilient, clear voice, engaging, and enthusiastic

Language skills: Native speaker level for local context, fluent in English

Skills and Competency:

  • Experience using a Sales CRM (Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric products and solutions
  • Knowledge of the energy management market
  • Marketing knowledge
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and build customer relationships
  • Successfully complete assigned training paths and engage in technical sales conversations
