We are looking for a Booking Specialist to join our team in a remote position. This role involves supporting the daily operations of your own travel agency while ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities in both written and verbal interactions.
Responsibilities
Manage communications – Handle inbound calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
Schedule coordination – Arrange meetings based on availability across different teams and stakeholders.
Organize resources – Maintain and optimize processes for document management and accessibility.
Training and certifications – Provide accurate guidance to travelers regarding bookings and travel requirements.
Policy communication – Inform clients and team members about new procedures, regulations, and travel guidelines.
Executive support – Assist with travel bookings, expense reports, and communications for senior-level staff as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma.
Experience in the travel industry is not necessary.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive and proactive attitude.
Problem-solving mindset with resourcefulness and creativity.
Familiarity with a computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Google platforms.
