The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team is essential to make this happen, ensuring the best seller experience while also guiding the operations to process as efficiently as possible.
The team is in charge of everything concerning our Fulfillment Centers’ Inbound, Placement, and Outbound planning and has a close collaboration with input providers (Retail/FBA stakeholders), internal customers (Fulfillment Centers, Middle Mile Planning, Last Mile Planning, among other teams involved in Amazon’s Supply Chain), and key stakeholders from different markets in the world.
The Inbound Supply Chain Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring a correct planning and launch for the network of specific buildings in Amazon Mexico; this network will benefit Amazon by ensuring a faster Inbound and a better inventory placement at the right place and at the right moment. This role is responsible for ensuring the IB planning and execution processes are optimized and aligned across buildings while also ensuring the right assumptions are taken based on datapoints. This role is also in charge of solving issues affecting the network, internal stakeholders, solve escalations, and ensuring through our business partners that the IB processes are optimized through implementations across multiple teams. This position requires deep understanding on the Amazon systems to intentionally drive results through experimentation, dive deep, and decision-making.
The right candidate needs to be analytical, knowing how to dive deep on root causes and proposing solutions on the identified issues. Additionally, the candidate must excel communicating with multiple stakeholders, and project management.
