Company Description

The client provides Telco and IP-led products and solutions to operators and enterprises for the fully automated deployment and management of virtualized networks and applications. The client is leveraging data science, machine learning, and automation to create an ‘Infinite Network’ built on mega data centers and edge-clouds.

Responsibilities

1. Design the VNF architecture, including VM numbers, CPU and memory capacity, and OpenStack installation and commissioning for the vIMS solution.
2. Identify and document technical requirements for the systems deployed in client networks based on product and/or system architecture requirements (for IMS-VoLTE Solution).
3. Collaborate in the execution of presentations that include integration and migration status, risk identification, and risk mitigation strategies during the project.
4. Analyze logs, traffic trace, and configuration data.
5. Design, integrate, and implement new IMS Core.
6. Support all the acceptance tests.
7. Support new market rollouts.
8. Coordinate and assist with the completion of internal audits.
9. Coordinate with various departments regarding IMS delivery to operational teams.
10. Create and execute MOPs on production networks.

The Challenges

Be able to work closely with the customer, deliver results, and present risks. Ability to motivate and lead a team of multi-discipline professionals. Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development, infrastructure, and application teams.

Skills and Experience

1. Degree in telecommunications, networking, electronics, computer science, or similar fields.
2. Experience in the IMS Core domain, preferably Nokia solutions.
3. Good hands-on experience with IMS Solutions and protocols (VoLTE, ViLTE, eSRVCC, VoWIFI, SIP/RTP/RTCP, and ICS).
4. Experience designing and documenting IMS Network solutions and services including call flows.
5. Desirable experience with Nokia Core equipment: TAS, CFX 5000, ENUM, MSS, and MGW.
6. Expertise in programmatically analyzing and troubleshooting IMS-related issues.
7. Strong background in LTE, EPC, 3G, associated 3GPP protocols, interfaces, and networking.
8. Solid basic understanding of routing and switching.
9. Good hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting of P/I/S-CSCF servers in IMS core network.
10. Hands-on experience in IMS and VoLTE/VoWIFI/VoNR configuration, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting (preferably Nokia) and ability to identify and solve problems from L2 through L7.
11. Knowledge of SIP, Diameter Protocols, LTE interfaces, and IMS Call Flows.
12. Written and verbal skills to present complex technical reports to customers.
13. Depth knowledge of VoLTE call flows, network, systems, and applications.
14. Knowledge of roaming scenarios and flows.
15. Experience troubleshooting VoLTE call flows, audio quality, and network problems.

Work Environment

Remote work / Home office. If a hybrid or on-site model is required, you will be informed from the first session. Work schedule aligned with the assigned project/team. Monday to Friday schedule.
