Plans and directs the flow of shipments, being responsible for tracking materials in transit.
Coordinates international traffic activities.
Responsible for Customs documents formulation for materials imports and exports.
Supervises the issuance of imports and exports.
Responsible for procedures to obtain the permits required by the Secretary of Economy.
Responsible for providing the accurate information to Customs Agencies of Mexico and the US, in order to get the correct tariff classification of its components and finished products, as well as for the elaboration of its import and export peds and manifests.
Responsible for coordinating with the different internal Departments of the Company to obtain the necessary information in compliance with regulations and Customs requirements.
Supervises staff's daily activities and enforces internal processes assigned to each of them.
Evaluates and distributes workloads to Import-Export Assistants.
Attends to conflicts solutions that surpass Assistants levels of action.
Undertakes assessment evaluations to subordinates and creates the relevant development plans.
Develops, modifies and maintains standard operating procedures.
Evaluates suppliers who comply with quality standards (customs agents).
Tracks timely and in due form arrival of materials and products of imports and exports.
Ensures that internal reports are prepared and sent (containers arrival schedule and import-export tracking report).
Production and processing.
Inputs, products, raw materials, waste, quality control and production techniques knowledge.
Updated knowledge on customs laws from Mexico and U.S.A.
Procedures in Secretary of Economy and Semarnat.
Knowledge of Environmental law and rules applicable to the company.
Federation Tax Code [in Spanish: CAM] and Miscellaneous Resolutions.
Knowledge of numbers, operations and interrelationships.
Data processing system and spreadsheets.
Warehouse inside material awareness.
Logistics, management and administration of Traffic area.
