What do you get to do in this position?
- Manage a small team in his/her field of expertise.
- Responsible for products simplification and optimization in the view of assembly aspect, manage DFA and DFAA study.
- Justify the best choice of product architecture by assessing each studied operation feasibility & simplicity of the associated manufacturing process in ‘Product/Process Architecture Options’.
- Propose & justify (investment vs. assembly cost) the most economical manufacturing process architecture according to the rules of SPS (Schneider Production System) & LADM (Line Architecture Design Methodology) in ‘DO’/ Engage stage gate.
- Responsible for traceability and digitalization approach definition.
- As the window between R&D and equipment supplier, work out the best solution for assembly.
- Communicate with plant/GSC to convince the equipment solution and investment.
- Design manufacturing line architecture, complete the technical specification of assembly means / automatic line.
- Launch and qualify the assembly means / automatic line according to industrialization budget & schedule.
- Train plant staff and transfer the Industrial files to plant.
- Create and maintain technical related documents and standards.

This job might be for you if:
- 8 to 10 years of experience as automation senior engineer of assembly and test equipment.
- Hands-on experience on Electronics products (such as PLC, Drives, motion control) manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in electrical/automation control proposal definition, detail design, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with controls or measurements, e.g., Voltage/Current/Displacement/Force/Torque, etc.
- PLC/HMI/IPC configuration and programming.
- Experience on traceability system design, digitalization deployment, and asset cybersecurity (SL1, SL2..) will be preferred.
- Familiar with quality tools.
- Experience in lean manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design and pneumatic control.
- Equipment project management experience is a plus.
- Good team player.
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills, able to collect and analyze data according to the project needs, set up a reasonable action plan, and push to achieve anticipated results.
- Open-minded, ready to be challenged, and to learn other’s best practices.
- Good communication skills with internal/external.
- Strong leadership.
