We are looking to meet our new Head of Product to join us and contribute to our mission of democratizing K12 Education in Latam.

As the Head of Product for Luca, you will be working as a core member of Luca’s team and interacting directly with the other departments.

You will... need to be a pragmatic problem solver, who is comfortable both leading high-performance teams as well as being hands-on. You will work with all business stakeholders in building Luca’s largest product, our educational platform and books.

Your responsibilities

• Be part of the company leadership to define the product vision and strategy, as we grow Luca and raise our Series A, after having raised our 5M$ in funding from European Leading Investors.
• Define a product vision that is executable and drives and supports the business strategy.
• Own the product management process across the entire product development life cycle, including user experience, design, and product/content roadmap definition and execution.
• Hire and build out a world-class product and design team with a strong product culture of continuous and rapid innovation and iteration. Coach and develop internal talent.
• Embed yourself in the education space, learn incredible transformational stories of our customers as well as absorb their pain to solve it.
• Use critical analysis and integration of information to develop an action-oriented plan and product roadmap.
• Create a world-class compelling experience for our end users.
• Partner closely with engineering & UX to drive cross-functional and AGILE working.
• Collect and leverage data from multiple channels to continuously iterate and improve on our product offering.

Your skills and experience

• Have at least 5+ years of experience in product leadership roles, can provide examples and articulate actionable plans on how to create a strong product culture.
• Have extensive experience in shaping product strategy and executing through multiple phases of business growth in a B2BC SaaS business.
• Exceptional product management skills in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrate high empathy and have a high level of EQ.
• Be highly capable of recruiting, training, coaching, and developing teams.
• Be a strong problem solver, confident in breaking down highly complex problems into their constituent parts.
• Have worked with data-rich products, focusing on analytics to drive global business growth.
• Experience in startups and/or high-conversion B2B/B2C complex products is desirable.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, ideally experienced in the LATAM market.
