ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity:
The Global Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and applying best-practice processes for spend analytics, supplier information management and supplier diversity insights.
The Spend analysis area is responsible for increasing spend visibility, proactively identifying savings opportunities, assessing the performance of suppliers and gaining actionable insights for source to contract category management.
This role will work with key stakeholders to maximize the benefits that services provide in terms of spend reports and analytics, helping the organization to drive better results, increase productivity, compliance and create efficiency.
Always looking for continuous improvement and working in a matrixed environment with the other service leads and ongoing optimization and transformation.
This role will build the service delivery organization including new hires, training and knowledge transfer and document all processes.
Your Impact:
As Global Procurement Manager your functions would consist of:
- Partner with the business leadership teams, providing the business analytic support to help drive strategic decisions that are critical to the ongoing growth of the business.
- Use analytical tools that increase automation, in order to support various steps involved in delivering a robust spend analysis solution.
- Provide recommendations to category managers in order to achieve spend savings.
- Partner with Global Procurement sector leads to capture new requirements.
- Set up the spend analytics & reporting and Supplier information service including practices and policies.
- Analyze, create, and execute project work plans to expand services to new categories – sectors.
- Interact and partner with GP Category leads to coordinate on strategy, priorities alignment and short and long term vision.
- Lead GP migration for spend analytics and supplier information management transition.
- Active networking and integration with centers.
- Oversee workforce planning including development, training, deployment, retention and performance for the service.
- Partner with the Sector GP team and Integration Lead to build and set up a fully operational service organization in Mexico within overall project timelines and goals.
QualificationsWho Are We Looking For?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required with concentration in Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering preferred.
Experience
- Broad experience in multiple Global Procurement disciplines (e.g. RFX, Contracting, Analytics).
- Superior problem-solving abilities and strong analytical thinking and aptitude for data collection.
- 5-7 years of experience in GP Operations/ Analytics.
- Expert Level Proficiency in Advanced Excel Macros, (Power BI, Ariba).
- People leadership/management experience required.
- Advance English proficiency.
- Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units.
