Reporting to the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Leader - Application Platform Management, the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist - Application Management provides L2/L3 Operations support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of platform management operations, including databases, middleware, and operating systems, across Regions and Business Groups. He/she interfaces with regional IT teams and Tech Office to ensure troubleshooting assistance in the platform management domain.
Main responsibilities include:
Platform Operations Management
Oversees L2/L3 support for databases, middleware, and operating systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations by managing the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of database systems, middleware applications, and operating systems.
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Ensure the implementation and upholding of IT standards, policies, and best practices defined at a Group Level.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the Service Desk to limit the intervention of Level 2 support, improving efficiency and first-call resolution rates.
Coordinate with regional IT teams to provide expert support and troubleshooting assistance in platform management, ensuring consistent service delivery across regions.
Coordinate with the Techpole to implement and ensure adherence to the standards defined by the Group.
Required profile & experience:
IT specialization or equivalent by experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on datacenter operations, server management, and cloud services.
Expertise in the exploitation, maintenance, administration, supervision, and support of IT services related to platform management.
In-depth knowledge of database systems and middleware applications, with proficiency in managing and maintaining these platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms, including the integration and management of cloud-based platform services.
Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements to ensure secure and compliant platform operations.
