Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Customs Manager to oversee customs regulations, manage import/export operations, and optimize logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with national and international customs regulations.
2. Stay updated on trade laws and regulations, advising on compliance matters.
3. Manage customs documentation and declarations.
4. Oversee customs clearance processes for timely and cost-effective shipments.
5. Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve customs issues.
6. Optimize import/export processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documentation.
8. Prepare reports on customs operations, compliance status, and KPIs.
9. Establish relationships with customs brokers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
10. Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms and company policy compliance.
11. Conduct audits and assessments for adherence to compliance standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in customs management, international trade, or logistics.
3. Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
4. Valid visa for international travel.
5. Strong knowledge of IMMEX, customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
6. Experience working with customs brokers and government authorities.
7. Proficiency in customs software and ERP systems.
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
