General Manager Assistant, Amazon Logistics

Description

The General Manager Assistant will support the General Manager and fulfillment center Operations team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. In this role, you must have the ability to communicate well and manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously.

Key job responsibilities

1. Administrative and secretarial support
2. Photocopying, faxing, typing meeting notes, making travel arrangements
3. Creating presentation using graphics
4. Completing expense reports, maintaining schedules, planning events, and coordinating meetings and events for our Fulfillment Center Staff

Basic Qualifications

1. High school or equivalent
2. 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
3. 2+ years of experience providing support for senior leadership or 1+ years Amazon experience

Preferred Qualifications

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to learn organizational structure and the objectives of the team
5. Strong organizational and communication skills and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to communicate with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management, peers, and outside contacts.
7. Fluent English proficiency
