Job Summary:

  • The Galaxy Store Operations Manager will oversee the platform's operations in Mexico, ensuring efficiency and smooth functionality.
  • The role includes implementing regular global campaigns, regional marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize brand awareness, user acquisition and engagement.
  • The manager will evaluate performance metrics, support strategic partnerships, and align local promotions with global objectives to drive growth and enhance the Galaxy Store’s impact in the region.

Challenges:

  • The role requires working closely with the Head of Mobile Experience Partnerships & Galaxy Store Operations, Latin America (based in São Paulo) while also aligning strategies with the Galaxy Store Global Marketing team in Suwon (Korea).
  • Navigating different priorities, regional needs, and global directives will be essential for success.
  • This is an individual contributor role that demands a hands-on mindset, ownership, and the ability to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • The person must proactively identify opportunities, propose solutions, and execute strategies that enhance the Galaxy Store’s presence in Mexico.
  • Ensuring that global campaigns are successfully implemented in Mexico while tailoring them to local preferences, user behaviors, and market trends.
  • Managing campaign operations end-to-end, from briefing to execution and performance evaluation.
  • The role requires adapting and localizing global marketing strategies while maintaining alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams, including Partnerships, Legal, Product Development, Customer Support, and Finance, without having direct reports.
  • The ability to influence and align stakeholders across different teams will be critical for execution.
  • Identifying insights from data and translating them into actionable improvements will be essential.
  • The person must be resourceful in optimizing budgets and ensuring cost-effective execution of marketing and partnership initiatives.
  • Identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships that enhance the Galaxy Store ecosystem in Mexico.
  • Supporting Samsung’s growth ambitions in the region by securing meaningful collaborations with local and global players.
  • The role involves directly handling campaign management tools, setting up promotions, and monitoring execution to ensure optimal results.
  • Troubleshooting issues and optimizing campaign performance in real time will be a key responsibility.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives that strengthen the Galaxy Store’s positioning and user adoption in the Mexican market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Solid experience in digital marketing, mobile app stores, e-commerce, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in campaign execution, marketing operations, and business growth in a digital or tech-driven environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Previous experience with the Mexican digital ecosystem (mobile, gaming, payments, or digital content) is highly desirable.
