Financial Data Coordinator

Job Overview:
The Web Shop Manager requires a skilled Bookkeeper to collaborate closely with our Finance Department. This part-time role involves overseeing financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process timely and accurate accounts payable; receive, verify, and post expenses in the accounting systems at the department level.
• Track accounts receivable and invoice clients accordingly.
• Daily Transaction Classifications and Entries.
• Journal Entries.
• Process invoices through Bill Pay.
• Monitor company payables to ensure timely payments.
• Monitor A/R and flag accounts for collections.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of Company credit card and bank accounts.
• Track and pay sales commissions.
• Produce ad hoc reports as requested by the Controller.

• A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect sensitivity of the information.
• Poised interpersonal skills and ability to engage with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
• Show initiative and exercise sound judgment.

• Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience.
• Flexible work schedule; our Company is based in the Pacific Time Zone.
• Basic accounting knowledge; SaaS accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, and Excel.
• Experience with billing software like Chargebee preferred but not required.
• Experience working remotely for US companies highly preferred.
