About the role of the Events Coordinator:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing events from conception to execution, will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful event delivery, providing an exceptional experience for all attendees.

What you will do:

  • Update and manage event bookings, including maintaining the function diary and preparing banquet event orders as required.
  • Distribute catering-related correspondence to resort operating departments as needed (e.g., amenity cards, resumes, banquet event orders).
  • Ensure daily updates of electronic reports in the Intranet database to maintain accurate and current records.
  • Draft and proofread accurate written correspondence, including letters, contracts, reports, banquet event orders, event schedules, printed menus, and emails.
  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls for the Events Department, ensuring adherence to Four Seasons standards. Assist with overflow inquiries for Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and the Executive Office.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this role.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or a similar high-end hospitality environment (2+ years) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong ability to navigate and operate all hotel systems with a keen attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Guest-centric mindset with a keen understanding of personalized service and guest preferences.
