In this role, lead cross-functional teams for assigned projects. Ensure adherence to Schreiber Foods’ project management process (EPM) in order to achieve desired project outcomes.
Manage day-to-day activities of the project team; guide them to understand and apply the EPM process.
Manage key project documentation and communication to the team and organization.
Lead development of a project charter, communication plan and overall project plan.
Manage team execution of the plan, any changes, deliverable completion, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
Close projects by documenting lessons learned and a scorecard.
As a member of the EPM team, provide support for Schreiber Foods’ project management process via leading formal process training events, general project support, EPM process advocacy, presentations, and reporting, auditing, coaching/mentoring and organizational communications.
Provide expertise in project management tools, exploiting the features of scheduling, resource planning, and work definition, base-lining and reporting.
Leverage expertise to support organizational project work and competency development.
Aid continuous improvement activities supporting the organizational maturity development of project management and the EPM process.
Together with the leadership team, ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements.
Interpret and communicate customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
Establish and audit PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met.
Review incidents during which the procedures are not met and determine appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
