Engineering Technician

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Technician for a temporary 3-month position. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows technical instructions carefully, and is committed to improving their technical skills. This role supports the Product Lifecycle Management team in sustaining activities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and test prototypes
• Monitor and support pilot build validations
• Conduct components and assembly measurements for process capability analysis
• Design and test alternate designs and interactions with fixtures and jigs
• Experience testing and validating Poka-Yokes
• Assist with procurement and management of engineering samples
• Package and manage outgoing materials for testing, analysis, or other purposes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience in 3D modeling (Solidworks Software preferred)
• Proficiency in 3D printing and troubleshooting
• Skilled in using measuring equipment
• Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on skills.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for assembly, maintenance, or repair tasks
• Function well in a team environment
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in English

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment.
