Responsible for the functions and activities related to Safety, Health, and Environment at the plant, including the management of the ISO 14001 environmental system, ensuring compliance with it and the established legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Supervise activities of subcontracted plant safety personnel and material recycling.
Supervise suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Conduct plant inspections and audits, developing action plans.
Provide statistical reports on objectives, goals, and other established metrics.
Support quality procedures and IATF standards.
Report on the performance of the Environmental Management System (EMS), safety, and health to management.
Develop training courses and participate as an instructor.
Safety, Environmental, and Health Responsibilities:
Administer the SAS (Safety, Health, and Environment) program.
Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans.
Coordinate functions of emergency response brigades and health and safety committees.
Report and investigate work accidents.
Administer, maintain, and ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System (EMS).
Integrate, develop, and update the audit team.
Report on environmental objectives and goals.
Coordinate activities with the medical service regarding health programs, ergonomics, and work accidents.
Implement and review health protocols.
Essential Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Paramedic, or related field.
Advanced English proficiency.
Knowledge of applicable legal requirements, safety, and environmental management systems.
