What awaits you:

1. Coordinate all customs-related issues for the production material, non-series material, machinery, and equipment during the ramp-up of the battery production plant.
2. Prepare and process all import documentation necessary for the customs broker, managing the complete import process to ensure availability of the products in time at the lowest possible cost.
3. Collaborate with different departments within the plant to ensure all import documentation and restrictions are met.
4. Track shipments and manage the customs clearance at different ports of entry.
5. Communicate status and delays to appropriate parties.
6. Resolve shipment issues and escalate to management for resolution when needed.
7. Collaborate with the logistics and transportation departments, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies.
8. Ensure that all legal framework and organizational policies are followed.
9. Handle all post-entry amendments.
10. Calculate required funding to process payments of import duties.

What you should bring along:

1. Bachelor's degree in international business, foreign trade logistics, or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, International Relations, Administration).
2. 2+ years of previous work experience in import operations and export operations. Automotive industry knowledge is preferred.
3. Proficient in English (fluent spoken and written).
4. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Knowledge of customs documentation and customs processes is needed.
8. Teamwork oriented.
9. Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
10. High result and quality orientation.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably relevant ERP (SAP).
12. Knowledge in MIC or other Trade Management System is preferred.
