Job Description

Leading a team in charge of the Project Management Office for an automotive Industrial project, you will be managing the activities of 2 to 6 manufacturing engineers, engaged in Logistics engineering and Process engineering. You will implement and fine-tune a Project Management toolkit to the customer’s project needs, report out at Senior Level on Quality/Cost/Lead time, provide efficient decision-making and escalation where required, and lead a team of manufacturing engineers.

Project/customer interface

1. Be Segula’s voice in high-level project meetings, demonstrating business acumen and trustworthiness.
2. Understand key challenges of the project and translate them into clear requirements for the scope of work.
3. Proactively suggest and stand for new ideas.

Project planning

1. Anticipate upcoming milestones.
2. Identify conditions for success and plan accordingly.
3. Escalate roadblocks.
4. Keep track of deliverables progress.
5. Report out on project trackers.

Quality, cost & delivery control

1. Keep track of the cost assumptions for the team’s scope of work.
2. Create and improve standards and procedures.
3. Drive project engineers into collecting data for case studies.
4. Compile technical lessons learnt.

Qualifications

1. Degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar job.
3. Automotive Project Management experience essential.
4. Automotive Manufacturing Experience essential.
5. Material Planning knowledge essential.
6. CNC Machining knowledge is a plus.
7. GERMAN FLUENT.
