Job Summary

Implement the Sensory / Consumer Research program in assigned global projects and support assigned tasks across multiple categories.

Assist in the design and implementation of research as well as interpretation and communication of results.

Assist in the conceptualization, design, management and data analysis including finding new methodologies and conducting preliminary feasibility assessment.

Write reports on assigned projects and communicate results to GTech and Consumer & Market Insights teams. Manage the logistics with external suppliers or facilities, assure supplier's deliveries on time that meet CP quality standards, and assure accurate payment to external suppliers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and execute employee and sensory evaluations, with panelist and/or employee / consumer databases, which will lead to support product developments efforts.
  2. Manage the logistics and administration of several panel databases, external suppliers, and/or facilities.
  3. Identify and share sensory / consumer learning and communicate results.
  4. Support the search for and implementation of new sensory and consumer methodologies to better meet needs of R&D initiatives.
  5. Develop Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to other process and quality improvements as it relates to the sensory and/or employee protocols.
  6. Strengthen the relationship with panelists and implement incentive programs to help motivate more panel engagement.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor Degree in such areas as Sensory Science, Psychology, Statistics, Food Engineering/Science, Marketing.
  2. 3-4 years of experience.
  3. Strong understanding of employee / consumer testing fundamentals with specific focus on implementation.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google Apps (Sheets, Docs and Slides).
  5. Fluent in spoken and written English.
  6. Knowledge with statistics and data entry systems like Minitab, SPSS, SAS, Compusense or Red Jade.
  7. Knowledge of Python & R (desirable).
