Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role has a constant interaction with the tax business stakeholders from North America, being responsible for configuration and maintaining tax data in Vertex O application. This professional would also be the key point of contact to run tests of system functionalities and performance, whenever new releases, upgrades or projects are being rolled out to Vertex O application.

Your Impact

As IT Tax Application Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:

• Configuration and maintenance of Taxpayers.
• Taxability drivers.
• Flex fields.
• Taxability mapping.
• Tax assist rules.
• Look up tables.
• Tax rules.
• RTE configuration updates.
• RFC queue sic log files error analysis.
• Vertex reporting.
• Customers.
• Customer exemption certificates.

Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

Experience required:

• 2+ years of experience with business tax configuration/maintenance
• Experience working with Vertex O application or similar Tax applications.
• A good working knowledge with tax applications, database (queries) and spreadsheets.
• Advance in English is a Must.
• A good working knowledge with Excel is a must.
• Desirable experience working with Power Bi.
• Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
• A proactive and highly organized individual
• Bachelor's Degree or higher emphasizing Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or Finance
• Experience working in a finance function or an IT organization supporting tax
• Technical savvy and experience collaborating with cross-functional international teams
