This position reports to

Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
2. Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
3. Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
4. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electro-mechanic, or Electronic Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management and execution in the Electro-mechanical industry
• Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK
• Knowledge of Electric systems
• Advanced English
• Project Execution with Mexican government entities (PEMEX, CFE, CONAGUA, SEDENA)
• PMP Certification Preferred
• Experience working with Big EPCs (ICA, TECHINT, KEWIT, others) Preferred
