IB MYP Individual and Societies Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an MYP Individual and Societies Teacher. The teacher will plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment. The teacher will also collaborate with other faculty members and participate in professional development activities.

Specific qualifications required for this role:

• Teaching Credential/License

Additional requirements for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, History/Geography, or a related field
• Teaching certification or license in Mexico or country of origin
• Experience teaching Individual and Societies in the Middle Years Programme (MYP)
• Knowledge of MYP / DP Ind. & Soc. curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for working with students and promoting their academic growth
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Professional Fluency in English or Spanish (written and spoken)
• Conversational fluency in the 2nd language is an asset
• Experience with MYP Community Project / Service and Action a plus
