Engineering position responsible for the development of generating assembly sheets, keeping the plant layout updated, and implementing projects that help maximize the resources of the assembly area.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out assembly instructions, such as their release.
Develop the sequence for the FMEA.
Design and maintain the plant layout.
Determine the workforce for the assembly area (Manpower).
Define the process and routes.
Release BOM and 2D drawings.
Design and customize workstations.
Carry out actions to prevent and correct safety events.
Develop continuous improvement exercises to maximize assembly area resources.
Define process restrictions.
Train the production team in new processes and training.
Execute the engineering change process (ECN).
Maintain and develop the assembly matrix.
Any other activity assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND STUDIES:
Industrial Engineer's Degree.
3 to 5 years' experience.
Bilingual 80% (English and Spanish) oral and written.
Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
AutoCAD.
Working study techniques (Time Pro plus – AVIX plus).
Leadership in the implementation of plant layouts.
Knowledge of SAP.
Assertive communication management.
Process simulation (Plus).
General knowledge of ergonomics and Mexican Official Standard (NOM) (Plus).
