3D Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Carry out the scan of parts with a scanner.
2. Post-process the files with the scanning software.
3. Cut, align, and morph 3D files of parts.
4. Model wiring harnesses, hoses, and specific parts.
5. Scan reference scans during the teardown of the vehicle during the AutoReverse process.
6. Perform photogrammetry of vehicles, systems, or parts with a Tritop.
7. Scan vehicles, systems, or parts with a scanner.
8. Clean vehicles, systems, and scanned parts.
9. Clean and repair data of complete vehicles, systems, and parts previously scanned.
10. Separate and align data of complete vehicles, systems, and parts previously scanned.
11. Morph data of complete vehicles, systems, and parts previously scanned.
12. Model mechanical connections between different systems or parts.
13. Deliver data on the platform.

Professional Background

• Degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge in materials, production, and assembly lines.
• Basic knowledge in manufacturing processes.

Skills & Abilities

• Experience in IT Tools, 3D Tools, and 3D Design Software.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Experience in the automotive industry (preferable).
