About the Role
An End User Computing Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the technology environment that directly impacts end users, such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software applications. They ensure that these systems are functioning efficiently, securely, and are aligned with the organization's goals and user needs. This role involves deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software solutions, as well as providing technical support and training to end users. Additionally, End User Computing Engineers often collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new technologies and enhance user experience.
What the Candidate Will Do
Lead solution design, engineering, build, test, automate, and provision/manage functions within the End User Computing space. Optimize team member experience by providing superior technology solutions that are fit-to-function, secure, supportable, manageable and high-performing.
Participate in the development and lead the execution of end user technology strategy by promoting a digital enterprise level product/services mindset. Partner with the IT service management and infrastructure teams to build product roadmaps and lifecycles.

Develop escalation models and assist support teams in the resolution of systemic/escalated issues related to hardware, build, software packaging, configuration management, imaging, patch management, device provisioning and new technologies for the End-User Computing environment
Design, engineers, implements, and configures high performance secure desktop and mobile device platforms that transform the way our team members work.
Assists with design, planning and implementation of projects / new technologies.
Identifies and resolves issues with the EUC management platforms, InTune/Entra ID/Active Directory/Group Policy/SCCM/O365
Basic Qualifications
7 – 10 Years of experience in the IT field, with particular focus in the design, engineering and management of end user technologies.
Advanced (3+ years) experience with associated management platforms such as InTune/Entra ID/SCCM/MECM/Workspace One
Advanced (3+ years) experience with configuration, deployment, and management of Windows and Mac client operating systems and mobile devices.
2+ years PowerShell/scripting/development and automation skills.
Familiar with modern engineering practices and resources.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor (4 year) degree with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
End user technology migration/ M&A experience preferred
