Overview

The GSC Digital Business Partner is a key position to achieve the digitalization of Schneider’s manufacturing plants. As this is an on-site position, it is essential to understand GSC (Global Supply Chain) business processes and local operations, identify their problems, and translate all digital needs into Technical IT Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure factory compliance with Schneider cybersecurity standards.
  • Coordinate network infrastructure changes or new enhancements.
  • Align with strategic priorities and participate in cross-functional activities to support business continuity.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all GSC business units and serve as SPOC between GSC and Digital Teams (SAP, Oracle, Connectivity, Assets Management, Tech Partners, Security, etc.).
  • Accountable for OT Cybersecurity in the manufacturing plant, managing activities to improve cyber resilience and protect the OT network from threats.

What will I do in this role?

  • Ensure digital adoption in real estate projects for new or expanding factories in NAM.
  • Track project schedules, identify and monitor issues & risks.
  • Ensure delivery of projects under the 3 KPIs: on time, on budget, and meet or exceed quality.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide project status updates and ensure processes are followed by the team.
  • Support the transition/handover of data gathering, enrichment, storage, and usage to a business-as-usual state.
  • Act as the digital key contact for business transformation projects.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on power/network outages, electrical maintenance, data center changes, UPS, etc.
  • Track IT assets, collaborate against obsolescence, and participate in IT asset refresh.
  • Delegate efficiently with teammates such as Tech Partners, In-Plants, vendors, etc.
  • Report high-level status to the plant manager and finance controller.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity and GSC business processes.
  • Experience with IoT, network architecture, and infrastructure is desired.
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL).
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of ERPs (Oracle, SAP, AS400).
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Java, C++).
  • Intermediate English level (mandatory); high level is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
  • Organizational skills and stakeholder analysis.
  • Risk Assessment and cost-benefit analysis.
