We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our team and spearhead the migration of our data infrastructure from MS SQL Server to Databricks on Azure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, extensive experience with cloud services, and proficiency in programming and data management tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Experience in leading or participating in significant data migration projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure, Blob Storage, and Databricks platforms.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and database management.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Experience with Qlik Replicate for data replication solutions.
• Certifications in Azure or data-related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Lead the architectural design, planning, and execution of data migration from SQL to Databricks on Azure.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using Python and Databricks.
• Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity using MS SQL Server and SQL.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to implement robust data solutions.
• Manage source control and versioning using GitHub.
• Utilize Qlik Replicate for data integration and replication tasks.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize data systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
