General Accounting Analyst (Level 6)

Job Description

What you will do?

1. Perform general ledger functions; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

2. Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues.

3. Investigate and analyze accounting transactions and contracts.

4. Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures.

5. Partner with Finance to determine the accounting implications of transactions and conduct analyses to inform all significant business decisions.

6. Assist with internal and external financial reporting, including consolidated results analysis, drafting SEC documents, and management review reports, ensuring quality and managing a strict timeline.

7. Evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.

8. Research and interpret new accounting standards and brainstorm how each applies to GM, in addition to meeting external reporting requirements 10-Q / 10-K.

9. Provide guidance to a team of individuals with similar functional responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance Bachelor Degree
• Accounting Experience (+ 1 year)
• Intermediate / Advance English

Preferred Qualifications

• Desirable SAP Knowledge
• Power Bi, Knime and Python Knowledge

Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis.
