The Business Systems Analyst role is results-oriented, reporting to the Finance Director and acting as the key liaison between Finance and Corporate Support Departments to enhance operational success and foster innovation. This position features cross-functionality with opportunities for career development. Responsibilities include the development and customization of applications and solutions utilizing the Office 365 platform. This role works closely with the CEO, CFO, and Corporate Support Leadership to implement projects, streamline workflows, and support SG&A functions. Additionally, the position involves reporting to the Corporate Support Departments.
DUTIES:
Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and applications that integrate with the Office 365 suite of tools, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
Create and maintain existing reports/dashboards.
Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into Power Platform solutions.
Customize and extend existing Office 365 applications to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom workflows, forms, and integration points.
Assist in the documentation of technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize Power Platform applications.
Coordinate the implementation of Finance Best Practices for operational and corporate reporting, training, and analysis.
Work closely with cross-functional leaders for input and project implementation.
Keep up to date with the latest Office 365 updates, features, and best practices to ensure solutions are built using the latest technologies and standards.
Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change.
Travel may be required (approximately 10%) for certain projects and corporate initiative implementations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience.
Previous internship or project experience in low-code application development is a plus.
Experience within food service or a directly related industry is a plus.
Experience with a large company (> $3 billion sales preferred) is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present in front of groups and different levels of management.
Willingness to master application development using PowerApps.
Willingness to master workflow development using Power Automate.
