This role is for experienced geoscientists or geophysicists looking for a career where they can continue to develop their scientific skills and knowledge in a commercial environment where their work will have real-world impacts.
As a Senior Geoscientist working with the CGG Geology Team, you will use your knowledge of seismic data, well data analysis, and seismic interpretation. You will help our clients identify and evaluate geological prospects to make informed decisions to minimize exploration and development risk, promoting energy transition.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of Petrophysicists, Geoscientists, and Geophysicists and work on fully integrated Geoscience studies. You will use state-of-the-art geoscience technology and high-performance computing applications to deliver high-end subsurface models of rock properties.
Working as part of the Geology team, you will manage complex technical projects which include providing data analysis and optimal quality control, identifying problems, defining innovative solutions, and ensuring that the project is performed on time as per the project schedule.
As the nature of the job, you should also demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills when working in an international team and with clients from all over the world.
This position is a fixed-term contract from six to nine months.
Qualifications:
Experienced geoscientist with a master’s degree or PhD degree in any of the following disciplines: Geology, Geoscience, or Geophysics with significant years of professional experience.
