We are seeking a seasoned and upbeat technical project manager with a background working with product development teams, TMCs, travel, and vendors, experienced in handling technical development projects.

You will work in close collaboration with a diverse group of product managers, analysts, developers, quality assurance, operations and support, travel counselors, and client management.

This role reports to the Global Product Manager, Compleat and supports the team responsible for improving and maintaining the GBT Select, HRG, and Egencia Compleat automation platforms.

What you will do

• Lead one or multiple projects supporting product development and product launches.
• Apply your PMP knowledge to build project plans, handle dependencies, risks, and issues, in line with standard project management best practice.
• Partner with collaborators to define project landmarks and roadmaps.
• Work with Compleat managers to assess the change impact and develop mitigation plans.
• Follow up with partnering teams on dependencies, timelines, and blockers.
• Work with internal and external partners to ensure timely completion of all workstream tasks and ensure products and features are deployed with a do no harm approach to other products and processes.
• Build strong rapport with collaborators and partners, ensuring their engagement and agreement.
• Ensure timely communication of plans, risks, and critical issues with business collaborators throughout the project. Communicate relevant project status, updates, risks, and issues in weekly reports to multiple collaborator groups.
• Coordinate & host project meetings and send meeting notes with clear action items and timelines. Follow up on action items.
• Provide product knowledge and project management expertise when engaging with partner teams.
• Identify and remove obstacles on all projects to ensure timely completion.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's project management tools and processes.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years travel proven experience, solid understanding of tools in the travel industry used by GBT.
• Experience with GDS PNRs and travel terminology.
• Familiarity with NDC is a nice to have.
• Experience with Compleat or similar automated quality control and auto-ticketing systems is a nice to have.
• Experience in product development / product operations / product deployment.
• Solid ability to work effectively in a sophisticated, diverse, global, matrix and changing environment.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in large global project management.
• Ability to navigate the organization, collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and overcome project barriers.
• Excellent time management, prioritizing tight deadlines with a focus on quality and details.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt and prioritize focus.
• Proven organizational skills, experience with agile project management methodology.
• Smartsheet certification, demonstrated sophisticated user skills, including setting up tools and processes in Smartsheet, is a plus.
• Excellent process documentation skills.
• Proficient in Jira / Confluence.
