Financial Senior Project Manager

The Senior Financial Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing complex financial projects within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery. The individual in this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies, and align financial projects with corporate objectives.

What you will work on

• Lead and manage financial projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth, cost efficiencies, and risk mitigation.
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts on project outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior executives, finance teams, and other stakeholders to align financial project goals with overall business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
• Prepare and present financial reports, progress updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Optimize financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in financial project management (Banking, Insurance)
• 6+ years of experience in managing large-scale financial transformation Projects
• 6+ years of experience in waterfall Methodologies
• Strong knowledge of risk management
• Proficiency in MS Project (At least 4 years of experience)
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Jira
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferable knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial governance frameworks.
• Experience in process improvement.
• Experience in Documentation
