The Credit Application Specialist role is to provide support to the Credit Risk Analyst team. Responsibilities will include Credit Application data entry, fraud investigative tactics, collaboration with the sales field, and the ability to think outside of the box. Maintain customer database, send invoice and statement copies, process correspondence, and handle returned mail. They will be expected to work directly with the customer, field sales, commercial specialists, and A/R Specialists to provide assistance with requests for information. In addition to other assigned responsibilities, the Administrative Support will need to be a self-starter with strong organizational abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Application data entry, account setup, and fraud review
Support the Credit Risk Analyst teams for any requests by field
Respond to mailed correspondence related to the customer account
Work inbound telephone calls and incoming mail to properly set up customer accounts. Update address and contact information in the computer system.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven research and investigative capabilities
Strong English - verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with proven customer service and dispute resolution ability
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the use of outside data sources to gather required information for analysis and reporting.
