Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Active Directory Customer Service Engineer to provide technical support and security solutions in Zero Trust security models, Azure networking, and cloud-native security practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Virtual Networks, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and network security architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Active Directory & Zero Trust Security

1. Apply Zero Trust security principles to Azure Virtual Networks by implementing granular access controls.
2. Secure private traffic within and across Azure tenants while maintaining compliance.
3. Implement Azure-native security features to enhance network security and threat mitigation.

1. Manage Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), including:
1. OWASP compliance and Web Security best practices.
2. Custom rules, exclusions, and policy deep dives.
3. Integration with Azure Firewall, DDoS protection, Web Apps, and API Management.

1. Design Azure network topology aligned with Azure landing zone recommendations.
2. Work with Application Gateway, focusing on:
1. Header and URL rewrites.
2. HTTP to HTTPS redirection.
3. Bot protection.
3. Compare WAF deployments across Azure Application Gateway (AAG) and Azure Front Door (AFD).
4. Monitor and log Azure WAF activity to optimize performance and security.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
2. 5 years of experience in Azure Active Directory, network security, and cloud security.
3. Expertise in Zero Trust security models, Azure Virtual WAN, and firewall configurations.
4. Hands-on experience with Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), Azure Firewall, and DDoS protection.
5. Strong understanding of OWASP security principles, network filtering, and cloud-native security.
6. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills.
