Team Overview

Are you a strategic powerhouse ready to redefine urban mobility across Spanish Speaking Latin America? As our Categories Sr. Manager, you’ll shape and lead the marketplace strategy for Taxi, Comfort, and Electric Vehicles, collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You’ll drive growth, push innovation, and leave your mark on a region-wide transformation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement category strategies for Taxi, Comfort, and Electric Vehicles to meet growth and market demand objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Oversee high-impact projects with Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to align on goals and performance metrics.
  • Team Building & Mentoring: Recruit, inspire, and manage a diverse team, setting clear targets and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Market Insights & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and operational KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key investment and resource decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, manage risks, and ensure quality and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
  • Innovation & Growth: Pilot new initiatives, encourage creative thinking, and stay ahead of evolving mobility trends.

Role Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in strategy, operations, or related fields, with a proven record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and scale high-performing teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong data-driven approach, with experience using insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in mobility, tech, or marketplace operations is highly valued.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, adjusting to market shifts and new growth opportunities.
  • Passion for Mobility: Eager to pioneer new solutions and redefine how millions move across the region.
