Position Title: e-Commerce Manager (Amazon)

Reports to: e-Commerces Sr. Manager

The Amazon Manager will be responsible for leading the relationship with this key account for all categories. This role will align the commercial and digital strategy across all segments, developing the positioning of different brands within Amazon. The ideal candidate should have eCommerce merchandising and retail media exposure with deep analytical and creative skills. This role requires partnerships with several cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, Supply, Finance and Planning teams to come up with new strategies for growth, profit and improve the eCommerce business.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver profitable growth aligned to P&L objectives.
  • Lead the strategic relationship with Amazon, aiming to maximize profitable growth for both parties.
  • Identify growth opportunities, ensuring category development across various segments, with a precise understanding of shopper insights.
  • Work and influence with the internal cross-functional teams to develop the correct price and promotion plan by a deep data analysis of Newell pricing lists and market and guarantee correct execution.
  • Manage GTN investment and guarantee correct ROI.
  • Create an annual product forecast and manage weekly updates to achieve goals.
  • Manage JBP and AVN processes with Amazon, with demonstrated negotiation abilities to align on growth and profitability KPIs, forecast accuracy and innovation initiatives planning and execution.
  • Execute plans to deliver KPIs on Confirmation Rate, Fill Rate and Budget.
  • Lead negotiations for SVS annual plan and leverage SVS points at maximum.
  • Lead Amazon internal team to deliver the JBP strategy aligned with the SVS and Vendor Manager to guarantee correct execution.
  • Analyze and propose correct fulfillment options to enhance the business. Develop Business plans and guarantee execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, improve sell out performance, and enhance customer satisfaction on Amazon.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to coordinate product launches, promotions, and inventory management.
  • Provide input to leadership regarding engagement and shopper data to contribute insights for refining merchandising strategies, with a focus on category development.
  • Build connections with Marketing, and Customer Marketing to support the strategic growth of the account. Creating Amazon Ads and DSP campaigns.
  • Guarantee execution of A&P strategy and follow up to maximize campaigns results.
  • Monthly follow up of chargebacks of A&P executed to guarantee proper management. Update or develop process as needed.
  • Implement effective customer service practices to resolve inquiries, complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools related to online marketplaces and make recommendations to improve optimizations.
  • Expertise in SEO and SEM principles and techniques for optimizing product listings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Business oriented, Digital business, MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, sales and/or Digital Marketing working with Amazon or Ecommerce Business in retail.
  • Experience in Amazon Account as Vendor (4+ years).
  • Understanding of eCommerce channels, metrics and customer journey.
  • Strong analytical focus and KPIs management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop direct reports, assisting to achieve their goals.
  • Consumer-centric approach to daily activities.
  • English written and spoken at an advanced level.
