Our team is focused on accelerating premium acquisition, increasing productivity and profitability, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and team engagement. Our Directors, Managers, and Sales Executives seek to stay ahead of trends, regulations, and opportunities that could impact our clients, to provide customized, forward-thinking solutions for them.

About the Role

We’re looking for a results-oriented leader in driving revenue growth and market expansion across all regions and diverse industries, with strong strategic thinking skills. Leader with people management expertise where coaching, feedback, sales team motivation and productivity are key for the role. Proven track record in developing high-performing sales teams, implementing effective sales strategies, and fostering strong partnership relationships. Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and streamline operations to maximize profitability. Adept at identifying new business opportunities and capitalizing on emerging market trends. Committed to driving organizational success through strategic planning, innovation, and effective communication. The incumbent in this position is responsible for leading the F2F Consumer salesforce. S/he will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plan to acquire new customers for consumer and SBS and leading our acquisition strategy to drive premium customer acquisition, increase productivity and profitability, and enhance team engagement. You will be a key player in shaping the company's growth trajectory and ensuring that our acquisition efforts are aligned with our overall business goals. The successful candidate will develop strong and high-performance teams with a mighty enterprise, collaborative, and inclusive mindset. Succeeding in this role will require strategic thinking, acting, and influencing. Effective communication and presentation skills (English & Spanish). This team player will build strong relationships with multiple teams and to interact with and influence decision makers. The position will need to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Risk, Product, Global Merchant Services and Operations Teams to execute on their deliverables and to achieve business objectives. Will also demonstrate good interpersonal skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a Team of 140+ people. Guide your direct reports to achieve higher conversion rates, build bigger pipelines, and faster sales closing cycles.
  2. Assure Salesforce achieve and exceed monthly targets.
  3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target businesses of various sizes with financial solutions according to their needs.
  4. Adapt sales strategies and plans based on market needs to achieve targets.
  5. Formulate short-term goals and long-term strategies to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, and achieve segment’s targets, focused on the main KPIs and parameters, such as NAAs, BBA-V, productivity rate, CPA, among others.
  6. Drive the sales team to build and nurture strong relationships with partners, focusing on understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  7. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales objectives with overall company goals and objectives.
  9. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to sales teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  10. Establish and maintain effective communication channels within the sales team and with other departments to facilitate seamless operations.
  11. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and overall team performance, presenting regular updates to senior management.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies within the sales operations.
  13. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for sales personnel, ensuring the team is appropriately skilled and motivated.
  14. Foster a results-driven and customer-centric culture within the sales teams, emphasizing ethical and professional conduct.
  15. Establish exceptional partnerships and solutions that drive mutually beneficial opportunities for the partner, AXP and our clients.
  16. Assist with special projects as needed.
  17. Proactively thinking of ways to streamline processes.
  18. Strengthen your team dynamics and improve the performance of your remote and hybrid teams.
  19. Develop the team members’ leadership skills and prepare a successor for the role.
  20. Improve Customers and Employees survey results.

Qualifications

  1. Enterprise thinking, strategic thinking, acting, and influencing ability.
  2. Results driven and experienced in executing successful sales strategies.
  3. Ability to build and lead a high-performance sales team and to foster diversity and inclusion.
  4. Ability to deal with constraints and work under pressure.
  5. Excellent Commercial Acumen & influencing skills.
  6. Strong results-oriented managerial skills.
  7. Self-motivated with creative thinking and problem solving/decision skills.
  8. Strong presentation and communication skills in English and Spanish.
  9. Create a teamwork environment, hands-on, proactive, resilient are the main qualities for this position.
  10. Time management.

Profile

  1. Over 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering.
  2. Over 5 years of experience with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, etc.).
  3. Experience in sales, business development, or customer management.
  4. Experience in people management.
  5. Proven experience in developing and executing successful acquisition strategies.
  6. Proven record of generating change through partnerships and collaboration.
  7. English business fluent.
