Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Lead a team of data stewards to successfully deliver data governance for the Network Design program adhering to the D&AI Data Governance & Stewardship Policies, processes and standards. This leader will oversee the DG deliverables including data assessment, data classification, capturing metadata, governing standards, Data Quality measurement and leading remediation.

This role will interact directly with senior leaders and stakeholders within the Supply Chain business. This role will partner with functional and delivery teams including Digital Product Owner, System Integrators, Data Product Manager, Data Engineering and Data Science.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can operate within a complex matrixed team structure, demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and is nimble enough to be able to handle ambiguity and change.

Your Impact

As Data Gov. & Stewardship Sr Manager your scope would consist of:

  • Manage a team of 5 indirect reports across the data domains.
  • Reporting and communicating the Network Design Data Governance activity status to senior leadership within the program (OpCom) and to the D&AI leadership team.
  • Ensure alignment with the Data Program Management team for the complete set of data requirements that will meet the needs of the Network Design solution (the “Data Requirements Document”).
  • Collaborate with business and IT resources to identify the correct sources of data.
  • Define the Data Quality rules and deliver the technical solutions to monitor and, where possible, correct any data errors that arise from the original sources.
  • Identifying the Data Owners (business and IT) within the business organization for ongoing management of the required data as part of the project and post go-live data management operations.
  • Establishing the processes and procedures for Data Owners to manage and maintain the critical data to ensure ongoing validity of the data once the Network Design solution is deployed.

Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

  • 10+ years of experience working in a dedicated Data role, covering a broad range of data disciplines and functions, such as data governance principles, data management processes, data integration practices, data quality management and data stewardship/ownership.
  • 5+ years of experience and exposure to Supply Chain functions, incl, associated processes, involved systems and interdependent data.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team, which includes internal and external resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner directly with business and technical subject matter experts, to drive end-to-end solution design, understand the business function and translate to technical solutioning.
