The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading the team that ensures the E2E Waste deployment adheres to the Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (D&AI) Data Governance and Stewardship processes, rules and standards.

This role will interact directly with senior leaders and stakeholders within the business, other functional and delivery teams, System Integrators and the other branches of the D&AI organization (including the Domain Data Stewards, Data Product Management team, Data Engineering team and Data Science team) and other relevant SMEs throughout the organization as necessary.

This role will require a collaborative leader who can operate within a complex matrixed team structure, demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and is nimble enough to be able to handle the changes that will invariably come during a complex program.

  • Ensure alignment with the Data Program Management team for the complete set of data requirements that will meet the needs of the E2E Waste solution (the “Data Requirements Document”).
  • Collaborate with business and IT resources to identify the correct sources of data systems, where available, and mapping those sources to the required data structures that support the E2E Waste solutions.
  • Define the Data Quality rules and deliver the technical solutions to monitor and, where possible, correct any data errors that arise from the original sources or from the data transformation into the E2E data stores.
  • Support the design/discovery of the data pipelines from the various source systems, partnering with the Data Engineering team and resources to ensure the on-time delivery of the technical solution.
  • Identifying the Data Owners (business and IT) within the organization for managing the required data as part of the project and post go-live data management operations.
  • Establishing the processes and procedures for Data Owners to manage and maintain the critical data to ensure ongoing validity of the data once the E2E Waste solution is deployed.
