Customs Specialist – FTA - 009DSS

This position is responsible for FTA analysis and certification, USMCA Centralization and Execution, customs valuation, importation duty reports, reducing duty payments, HTS classification, achieving the legal dispositions, and on-time delivery according to plant requirements as well as new projects. Follow up on Blanket release, R8 balance, and FTA Season administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. FTA Analysis and Certification
2. Robust execution of the USMCA for Virtual Factories (FG’s) in Mexico, shipping under FCA MX Plant with SEUSA as the Importer of Record.
3. Robust execution of the USMCA for OG Vendors (RM & Comp) in Mexico, shipping under FCA MX Plant with SEUSA as the Importer of Record.
4. Machinery Design Centers shipments from Mexico to the USA
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail
6. Foster collaboration and networking

Qualifications/Experience

• More than 3 years of experience
• High level of English is required
• Advanced software literacy (Excel / Access / PowerPoint / SAP / Intrade)
• Background in Manufacturing Industry, Customs, Logistics, and International Trade
• Expertise in Data management
