Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office at the nearest hub.
About this role
This is a highly collaborative and technical role responsible for building and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns that reach millions of learners worldwide. You’ll work across email, push, in-app, and other channels, translating business goals into high-quality, data-driven campaigns. As a key player in campaign execution, your work directly supports user engagement, lifecycle success, and the advancement of our marketing operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Gather and document requirements, understand campaign flows and logic, apply attributes and events, and define timelines as per SLAs.
- Implement different kinds of marketing programs in a cross-channel campaign (Email, Push Notification, In App Messaging, Webhook, WhatsApp).
- Build dynamic, mobile-responsive emails, modules, and templates using HTML5 and CSS3.
- Implement Liquid/Java Script to create targeted and relevant personalization in emails.
- Monitor email programs to ensure deliverability to a global customer base.
- Contribute to the project management of email campaigns in the PM tool, Asana.
- Contribute to lifecycle, promotions, and trigger-based programs.
- Collaborate to coordinate coverage, allocate work, and manage bandwidth.
- Utilize Validity to proof email campaigns to ensure correct design and device rendering.
- Troubleshoot issues or errors that may arise pre- or post-launch.
- Work with several partner teams, including Brand, Product, Engineering, and Data Science, to assist in improving email marketing sophistication through automation and personalization.
- Monitor trends, analyze data, and optimize marketing campaigns.
- Identify marketing process improvement opportunities.
What you’ll have:
- 4+ years of technical email marketing or technical marketing experience.
- Experience using Braze, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, and Adobe Experience Cloud or any other similar tool.
- Solid experience in HTML and CSS, with the ability to troubleshoot code issues.
- Familiarity with email marketing concepts, deployment, and implementation.
- A drive to improve processes and increase operational efficiencies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive experience in QA’ing content, audience, and automation.
- Ability to monitor post-launch campaign success and work to escalate and resolve any issues.
- Knowledge of email best practices, A/B testing, and CAN-SPAM laws, and the ability to bring new and innovative ideas to the team.
- Experience using email optimization tools to proof email templates for device rendering.
- A passion for learning, developing, and testing innovative email personalization techniques and formats.
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
Hiring Compensation Range
$464,000 - $580,000 MXN
