Responsibility 1: Analyze and control the margin of material as well as the operations of Mexico
- Coordinate and produce the analysis of the material margin for all Mexican activities.
- Plan and organize the deadline and deliverables of internal reports with the plant, finances and other support functions for closing.
- Present and analyze the monthly financial reports to the Division, through HFM.
- Present and analyze the operational reports to the Division, through OPIUM, Supply Chain and operational scorecards.
- Control the central activities of Mexico: closing, forecasting and consolidation of operations.
- Assist in the processes of forecasting, budget and business plan.
- Implement a detailed monitoring of CAPEX and the appropriate use of APOLLO.
- Coordinate and facilitate cost control for operations in Mexico.
- Confirm the accuracy of the data/reports through bridges and reports.
- Ensure standardized reports of financial information.
- Streamline plant data collection processes to improve punctuality.
- Foster a mentoring relationship with plant controllers and stay close to daily operations by frequently communicating with plants.
- Analyze ongoing business performance and prepare written comments for management.
- Ensure the consistent application of the global accounting policies and procedures of Plastic Omnium in all plants with regard to operations.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the reporting tools (HFM, Opium, SAP ...).
- Produce or coordinate the specific reports requested by the Mexico Finance Manager.
- Comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
