Director of Marketing – Entertainment Industry (Mexico & Global Operations)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Marketing to lead the strategic direction of marketing for our operations in Mexico and global franchise locations. This critical leadership role is responsible for driving brand positioning, developing communication strategies, and executing campaigns that ensure a unified and impactful brand presence worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership in Marketing Communication:

Define and drive the overall marketing strategy across both performance and traditional marketing channels. Lead the execution of integrated campaigns that align with the brand’s global vision and elevate its positioning, ensuring a consistent message across all markets.

  • Brand Positioning & Messaging:

Develop and implement a compelling brand positioning strategy, ensuring the brand’s messaging resonates with diverse audiences and markets globally. Guarantee the brand stands out in a competitive entertainment landscape and maintains its distinct identity.

  • Performance Marketing Leadership:

Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEM, social media, programmatic, and other performance-driven channels including E-Commerce. Optimize strategies to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and measurable ROI through data-driven decision-making.

  • Traditional Marketing Excellence:

Lead and execute traditional marketing campaigns across TV, radio, print, out-of-home, and other offline channels. Ensure the brand message is consistently communicated across all touchpoints and markets.

  • Global Franchise Collaboration:

Partner with international franchise teams to ensure the alignment of global marketing strategies with local market needs. Provide ongoing guidance, support, and leadership to help franchises implement successful marketing strategies that adhere to brand standards.

  • Executive Leadership & Team Management:

Collaborate closely with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation and operational excellence.

  • Performance Tracking & ROI Management:

Monitor and analyze the success of marketing initiatives across all regions, adjusting strategies to maximize impact and ROI. Ensure effective tracking and reporting of marketing performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a focus on both performance and traditional marketing.
  • Proven expertise in brand positioning – global brand position desirable – , messaging, and the execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing marketing strategies for Mexico operations and franchise networks.
  • Fluency in English with proven experience in global communication and reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful campaigns across both digital and offline channels.
  • Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality or related industries is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly salary of $200,000 MXN, plus a comprehensive package of superior benefits, including a company car, premium insurance, and more.
