About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and build their new remote departments. This pivotal role is for a highly-driven and dynamic individual capable of growing operations, hiring teams, and overseeing day-to-day management of the company’s remote operations. The ideal candidate will possess a generalist mindset with significant leadership experience in managing operations and building teams from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the remote wing, including building and scaling remote teams and departments.
• Hire, manage, and oversee all remote team members, ensuring clear delegation of responsibilities, and holding teams accountable.
• Utilize project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, ClickUp) to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure the smooth functioning of remote operations.
• Develop and execute operational strategies for seamless communication, process improvement, and growth across remote teams.
• Oversee performance management, including hiring, firing, and training staff as needed.
• Ensure that all operational activities are in alignment with the company’s goals, values, and strategic vision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management, including at least 5 years in a COO role.
• Proven track record of successfully building and managing remote teams and departments from the ground up.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and a generalist mindset with the ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using project management tools such as Notion, Asana, ClickUp, or similar tools.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (non-negotiable).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to execute strategic goals.
