ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The SAP Adoption Services Center (ASC) provides remote/onsite SAP consulting services to SAP customers. It is a global team focusing on the S/4HANA product and drives the RISE with SAP Methodology for S/4HANA, as a core element of the digital strategy of our customers.

We are looking for a SAP Business Process consultant, who is experienced in MM or SD processes, with knowledge in SAP S/4HANA, sound experience in master data and handling of business partners in S/4HANA, knowledge of key business functions in logistics S/4HANA processes and knowledge in at least one industry solution and/or one line-of-business solution within our scope of solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take upon roles in Professional Services engagements of SAP solutions as logistics business process expert during all key phases and cycles of the projects.
• Advise customer on industry best practices in the required area of expertise, with focus on Digital Industries.
• Support sales activities during elaboration and evaluation of SAP Services project proposals.
• Support other activities outside of consulting/professional services, such as support engagements, customer escalations and expert-on-demand requests, as required.
• Contribute to internal global initiatives supporting SAP strategy for helping customers drive their digital strategies and innovations.
• Be deeply involved in our culture of knowledge sharing, and in assets use and improvement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

• Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products.
• Be actively involved in the preparation, design, realization, deployment, and support of customers’ implementation, upgrade/migration, and roll-out projects.
• Participate in customer workshops to understand business process requirements, providing solutions to address customer issues.
• Configure customer requirements in customer’s SAP system, prepare functional specifications and support development teams.
• Participate in testing, training, and support during key project cycles of SAP projects.
• Support services sales activities, helping to validate project efforts, reviewing key premises and exclusions.
• Participation in the execution of innovation portfolio in coordination with Customer Services & Delivery areas.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Relevant combined industry and SAP logistics consulting experience and/or experience in at least 3 full SAP E2E implementations.
• Knowledge on SAP S/4HANA in one logistics module, MM or SD, with understanding of technical integration with other solutions.
• Good understanding of handling master data in S/4HANA, with knowledge and experience in SAP Business Partners.
• Experience in one Industry solution or LoB solution is a plus.
• Knowledge in Mexico Localization processes and the SAP DRC solution for Mexico is a plus.
• Understand how SAP FIORI applications work.
• Good communicator with strong verbal and written communications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging client situations.
• Self-motivated, proactive, curious, and resourceful.
• Understanding of the AGILE project methodology and experience in a project using such methodology.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.

LOCATION

Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Hybrid (onsite and remote) work is possible.
